CREDO/RBI COORDINATOR (Bahrain)

Overview: To provide cost effective integrity and reliability services in accordance with recognized technical, quality, safety and environmental standards to ensure safe and reliable operating facilities using “CREDO” Inspection Management System and Risk Based Inspection methodology.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible in ensuring plant integrity and reliability for the safe and efficient operation and      maintenance of the plant based on RBI methodologies.
2. Carry out the RBI study plan and progress reporting against plan.
3. Collect the results of intrusive and non-intrusive inspections from the relevant inspection area      AI Engineer and update the inspection data base and modify inspection schedule based on RBI      methodology for the future inspection.
4. Upload the inspection program and activities in RBI program and Credo to facilitate maintenance      department to plan and schedule the inspection activities.
5. Follow up with maintenance planning to ensure the inspection activities as established by RBI      are scheduled.
6. Reviews documents to verify acceptance to industry standards and extract data for inclusion in      AI records system within Credo.
7. Reviews corrosion & inspection data, makes recommendations, in coordination with area     AI Engineer,for remedial work to ensure continued safe and reliable facilities.
8. Preparing management reports and corrosion loop documentation for the corrosion manual
9. Prepare and maintain computerized corrosion and inspection records so that accurate and      reliable information is available.
10. As a team member investigate materials failures, identify root causes and recommend      necessary changes to cost effectively maintain equipment in safe, reliable and efficient      operating conditions.
Qualifications:
1. Have a minimum of university BSc degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering from      a recognized university.
2. Have 10 years experience as an Inspection / Corrosion Engineer (as detailed above) in the Oil      & Gas industry.
3. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
4. Must have excellent hands on experience in implementing and operating “CREDO”      Inspection Management System
5. Must have excellent experience in developing and operating Risk Based Inspection methodology      in oil and gas
6. Must display clear thinking, logical reasoning and sound judgment
7. Must be able to work on various types of small and complex projects at the same time and be      physically capable of moderately strenuous work in an oil field desert environment.
8. Must have the knowledge of the industry standards and regulations with regards to RBI      (including API RP 571 & 580), quality and safety.
9. Must have certification on one or more of the following – API-510, API-570, API-653
10. Must have awareness about environment protection.
